Job Opening for System Engineer, Lexington, MA We are currently working on below mentioned job opening i.,e. Job Opening for System Engineer, Lexington, MA . Please let me know if you are interested in applying for the same. This will initially be a full time 6 month assignment that will be worked on site in Lexington, MA with a possibility of extension. Responsibilities • Use various IT tools such as windows NTFS permissions, active directory, group policies, etc. to implement and deploy systems with data integrity risks minimized. • Author and revise system design and configuration specification documents for new and ongoing projects. • Author documentation that includes holistic data integrity methodologies, backup/restore testing, disaster recovery planning, and related IT activities. • Ensure that system data is being protected in accordance with effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Coordinate services and escalate service issues as needed for vendor maintenance. • Work with infrastructure teams to request server architecture and perform installation of application. • Develop data flow diagrams that also tie to how a system will be used. • Deploy workstations and install applications on both client and servers as needed for application. • Work with infrastructure teams to assure proper backups of lab systems are setup. • Follow Computerized Systems Validation (CSV) process and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to build out and validate the application. • Support Installation and Operational Qualification (IOQ) protocols for assets in raw materials and laboratories as appropriate and applicable (e.g. admin-related test scripts execution). • Author/review systems administration related deliverables such as operating procedures, access forms, functional/user requirements, risk assessments, and administrator work instructions. • Assist in decommissioning of assets with proper documentation. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Technology, or related field. • At least 5 years job related experience to include process, equipment, and or CSV. • Strong understanding of current regulatory expectations and industry standards relating to lab equipment validation such as CFR Part 11 • Experience qualifying laboratory equipment such as plate counters, imaging microscopes, moisture analyzers, spectrophotometers, plate readers, densitometers, etc. • Familiar with mechanical and engineering principles, maintenance, and calibration procedures used for lab instruments. • Ability to write specification and system design documents. • Previous experience troubleshooting computer systems and lab equipment. • Previously deployed and supported lab instruments that include Empower, Chromeleon, SOLO VPE, Roche Cedex, Roche LightCycler 480, GE DataPro2, Lonza WinKQCL, Mettler Toledo LabX, Thermo WebAdmin for TruScan RM Analyzer, and various workstation applications used in GxP environment. • Hands on work experience with ITIL processes in ServiceNow such as incident management, change management, problem management, asset and configuration management (CMDB). • Ability to decipher from a lab system where data objects are stored and how to protect the data (main data, audit trail, methods, reports, templates, etc.). • Familiarity with operational excellence and/or continuous improvement processes • Must be familiar with the following technologies: MS Office 365, MS Visio, MS Project, Citrix, Windows Server, SQL, LDAP, Group Policy, TCP/IP Networks, Server Virtualization, RDP, Backup and Restore.
