Job Description
  • Report any safety issue or accidents. Operate equipment safely at all times.
  • Perform PSA (Pre-Startup Approval) at start of all new jobs (mold and color changes) and in process inspections.
  • Confirm product quality by setting and maintaining process variables and verifying established process parameters
  • Diagnose and resolve machine and processing issues to ensure products meet specifications and requirements
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures
  • Continuously improve efficiency by reducing scrap and improvise on methods and procedures
  • Set up product inspection systems at start of every job
  • Monitor inspection systems daily, analyzing rejects and administer corrective actions
  • Cross train on all processes such as injection and extrusion blow molding and compression blow forming
  • Keep machines and equipment clean at all times
  • Maintain logbooks, documenting issues throughout shift
  • Verify and report total output and scrap at end of shift
  • Maintain batch records
  • Participate in group meetings for continuous process improvement
  • Supervise all packers and utilities
  • Assist in Mold Changeovers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
  • Physical fitness – Physically fit, Ability to stand for entire shift and ability to lift weight  up to 50 pounds 
  • Administrative skills – Documentation of all record needed paperwork
  • Communication skills – Written and verbal communication to update relevant documentation and share needed information with manager, peers and all team members
  • Multi-tasking – Analyze and prioritize projects and have the ability to respond to instructions and follow through independently
  • Quality – Must be able to detect visual bottle defects in a timely manner
  • Measurements – Must possess the ability to use measuring equipment such as scales, and calipers
  • Mechanically Inclined – Must be able to use basic tools like wrenches, Screwdrivers, Hammers etc
