Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications and systems according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document mainframe programs using programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a mainframe developer, including hands-on experience with programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies and tools, such as IBM z/OS, JCL, CICS, IMS, or DB2.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a mainframe environment.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques for mainframe applications.

Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 0-2 yrs. experience with Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with valid status. Recent graduates with no experience are also welcome to apply for the above positions. Should have an understanding of programming or database concepts and should have knowledge of any programming language or databases.
