Sine Trading International (www.SineTrading.com), a fast growing company providing Customs Clearance and freight forwarding to companies nationwide and around the world, is expanding fast and in need of a full time account/assistant accountant. The successful applicant will focus on functions related to AP/AR, and other office work assigned. This is a full time onsite position in Pittsburgh, PA. Sine Trading is located at 1439 N Franklin St., Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client invoicing information with related colleagues, complete client invoicing and issue invoices to clients on a weekly schedule
  • Enter AP vendor invoices, project initiation information, and budget updates into the accounting software
  • Gather, calculate, and prepare vendor invoices for payment
  • Respond to accounting questions and requests for information, both internally and externally
  • Ensure that submitted information is accurate and in compliance with company accounting standards and governmental requirements
  • Assess current billing operations, offer recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues to ensure clients are invoiced appropriately
  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
  • Other office duties assigned by supervisor like customer service and data entry

Interested candidates should have:

A minimum of three years of accounting (AP/AR) experience.

A minimum of one year experience working directly related to logistics

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication/presentation skills

Be able to work independently.

Compensation: Salary based. DOE.
