Title: Data Analyst Description: Overview The client seeking a Data Analyst to tell compelling data stories to drive better business decisions by helping us become customer obsessed. This role will help us achieve our goal of transforming data into a strategic enterprise asset that is shared, accessible, trusted, stewarded and secure. We want to grow and we need your help. For the right candidate there will also be opportunities to build machine learning products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for asking questions and answering them with data stories, led by compelling visualizations that help drive business decisions keeping the customer experience at the forefront. Responsibilities: Skills: Qualifications: Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI or related tool, hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for design, build, and iterating processes that help our organization with data visualizations for Sales, Finance, Operations and other critical data from various data systems (ERP, CRM, Marketing etc). Work will require exceptional attention to details in accuracy, performance, and alignment with organization priorities.
Translate complex, technical information into simple, engaging visuals that a less-technical audience will easily understand and use for actionable insights
Provide input on topics like data access, data ingestion, data transformation, database design and implementation
Developing a deep understanding of the business, its data, its patterns and our customers.
Working with data engineers to ensure we have the necessary data sources available to produce these insights.
Creating and communicating in-depth, precise reports, and work with the business to define and surface relevant KPIs
Ensure the validity and actionability of the data gathered and results surfaced to ensure they are be tied to customer and business outcomes
Proficiency in SQL and can independently mine data to translate business data needs into creative and actionable visualizations. Python coding a plus
Expertise is the design and development of Tableau dashboards, reports and front-end visualizations and analysis with ability to tell stories with data
Experience with various types of data repositories (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, data marts), master data management, and ETL/integration
Technical aptitude with Google Suite, Salesforce and broad awareness of other analytical tools
Experience in SaaS sales industry or a subscription based sales a plus
Undergraduate Degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI or related tool
2+ years of experience in visual reporting development, including hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets.
SaaS, Python coding a plus
