ThyssenKrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Coder- Router to join our world class team in Middleton, TN. This role is responsible to provide administrative support for the coding and routing function providing correct, accurate information in a timely manner.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing all administrative duties associated with coding and routing so that the department functions efficiently and cost effectively
  • Distributes (routes) all job folders to the manufacturing processes/areas in an accurate and timely manner per schedule; including jobs that need to be distributed to Programming
  • Downloads and addresses P-jobs daily
  • Files all jobs after being processed until ready to be "routed" to manufacturing
  • Prints Kanban cards and drawings as needed
  • Participates in annual physical inventory duties
  • Distributes daily/weekly schedules to manufacturing as needed
  • Timely and accurate response to all forms of customer update requests
  • Understands and exhibits proficiency with the knowledge of information and material flow as it pertains to scheduling through manufacturing
  • Maintains 6S of cubicle and office area
  • Prepares job packets as assigned
  • Performs other job duties as may be assigned
Your Profile
  • High School Diploma or GED required timely manner per schedule; including jobs that need to be distributed to Programming
  • Associates Degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one or more years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required
  • Minimum of one or more years' experience working with integrated computer programs or applications experience required
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios
  • Standard forklift operating experience required
  • Requires excellent dependability, the ability to multi-task and must work effectively without close supervision
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced, high stress environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers required
  • General knowledge of elevator and escalator parts a plus
  • Experience in working with COPICS a plus
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written) along with sound interpersonal skills to all levels of the organization
