Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for an Associate Recruiter at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY. The Associate Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end recruiting for entry-level positions at the Corporate office. Supports Talent Acquisition department by facilitating new hire orientation, driving external employment branding efforts via social media channels and developing relationships with external partnerships to develop to grow talent pools.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for end-to-end recruiting process steps including applicant tracking system administration, hiring manager in-take sessions, passive candidate searches, sourcing talent, conducting interviews, candidate travel administration, PeopleSoft data entry, relocation coordination with vendor, offer generation and extension and candidate disposition.
  • Timely and accurate communication to Hiring Manager, candidates and HR Business Partner throughout the process.
  • Responsible for adherence to end-to-end talent acquisition metrics (e.g., time to fill).

  • Conduct new hire orientation and provide support system to new employees during their onboarding process.

  • Support external employment branding strategy through social media content development and posting.

  • Lead and support talent acquisition continuous improvement projects.

  • Identify and foster relationships with external organizations to expand talent pool.

Required Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting department
  • Prefer one year of work experience recruiting and sourcing candidates
  • Applicant tracking experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree / or equivalent work experience
  • Strong integrity and judgement with the ability to maintain confidential information
