Master Finish has an opportunity for a shift supervisor to work as part of a supervisor team to coordinate all of production activity on 3rd shift. Production Supervisors are responsible for teamwork, efficiency, accuracy, and effective communication to all of the MFC team. Responsible for completing each day’s work schedule and determining staff levels and resources needed to do so. - Maximize labor efficiency/productivity of all subordinates and processes ?
- Determine employee work hours and workload assignments, plan and coordinate all team members tasks effectively in collaboration with other leads, shifts, and production priorities ?
- Continually educate team of what is expected of them, hold team members accountable for actions and performance, uphold labor standards ?
- Assist in developing a strong team by motivating, coaching, and training employees ?
- Resolve personnel issues, conflicts, and carry out disciplinary actions professionally and tactfully in accordance to company policies and core values
- Responsible for training, orienting, scheduling, developing, disciplining, and annually measuring job performance of employees.
- Achieve a high level of employee efficiency and morale through leadership and the use of sound management and human relation’s principles ?
- Champion successful onboarding and training of new employees, organize effective training to advance individuals, coordinate ongoing cross training and applicable record keeping for all teammates
- Comprehension and confirming compliance of all production processes ? Responsible for schedule attainment, and accurate completion of all work on shift ?
- Responsible to oversee and ensure accurate and efficient part racking, inspection, tool change overs, inventory movements, baking operations, and production area organization ?
- Assist in material movement, racking, and inspection of parts ?
- Hold and/or attend daily production meetings, and attend weekly management meetings
All employees and visitors complete screening before entering the building. This includes a temperature check.
